BIO

Size doesn’t matter; smart, talented, knowledgeable, leadership, commitment does. A coach once told me I didn’t have the skills; it didn’t break me; it drove me more. I take softball as serious as I take my academics. I know how to get the job done. As a Jr Instructor, I share my knowledge, and am capable to lead an individual or group. As a player or as a student, I am committed and take control of what I need to do. This game has taught me so many skills, created friendships, and gave me the drive to succeed, all because of a little yellow ball.

#3 - Renee Arcand
2025

Denise Davis - Owner, Planet Fastpitch

“Renee Arcand is persistent and hard-working. She has committed herself to improving her softball skills and dedicated endless hours to achieving her goals. Renee has developed a skill set that is healthy and sustainable. She is becoming faster and stronger. As she gets older with more size and strength, I
believe that we will see even more speed production on the mound. She is effective during live competitions. She moves the ball well, has very good spin
rates and a terrific off-speed pitch. Renee is a two-way player who also has a developed strong skill set in hitting, fielding, and throwing. As a junior instructor at Planet Fastpitch, she is timely, responsible and communicates well during her lessons and groups.”

Kerri Jacklets - Master Instructor, Planet Fastpitch

“Renee is a dedicated student-athlete that maintains a consistent training schedule at Planet Fastpitch. On a weekly basis Renee typically attends the
Varsity School which is the most comprehensive development program we offer in pitching, hitting and fielding. To complement her technical training, she does a deep dive with private instruction each week and then can be found applying what she has learned by hitting or pitching in our live at-bat classes.
Renee brings a high level of commitment and has leveraged a holistic approach to make great strides in her game. Loving the game was not enough, Renee
is now teaching private lessons and instilling the same values the game taught her. As an instructor, Renee is excellent, engaging and well-knowledged with her students.”– Kerri Jacklets – Master Instructor, Planet Fastpitch

Coach Laura Denoncour - Waves Softball

“Renee has been a part of the Waves Softball family for the past 3 years. Her work ethic is unmatched and shows through her solid fundamentals on offense
and defense. Her passion for the game is evident and will continue to push her to the next level. She will be an asset to any college program.” -- Coach
Laura Denoncour – Waves Softball
